At Torrevieja Taxi Express we take care of your personal data. On this page we explain what data we process, what we use it for and what rights you have, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

If you need the owner's tax ID (NIF) or tax address, you can request them by writing to torreviejataxiexpress@gmail.com and we will gladly send them to you.
2. What data we process
We only process the data you give us when you ask for information or request a service:
- Booking form: full name, phone, email (if you provide it), type of service, date and time, pick-up point and destination, number of passengers and suitcases, children's ages, whether you need child seats, whether you are travelling with a pet and, for airport pick-ups, flight number and where you are flying from.
- Calls, WhatsApp and email: the data you give us when you contact us.
- Contact form: name, email, phone (if you provide it) and the message you write to us.
If you give us data about other people travelling with you, such as the children's ages, you undertake to have their permission or that of their parents or guardians.
3. How the forms work
The booking form does not store your data. When you press «Request booking», WhatsApp opens with a message containing the data you have entered. We only receive the request if you send that message.
WhatsApp is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited, which processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
The contact form does not store your data on this website either. When you press «Send», your message reaches our email through Web3Forms, an external form-sending service, which processes the data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
4. What we use your data for
- To answer your enquiries.
- To handle your booking requests, confirm them and organise the taxi service.
- To track your flight for airport pick-ups, so we can allow for early arrivals or delays.
- To meet our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting obligations.
We do not use your data to send you advertising or to make automated decisions about you.
5. Legal basis
- Handling enquiries, bookings and services: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performance of the transport contract (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
- Tax and accounting obligations: compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6.1.c GDPR).
6. How long we keep your data
We keep your data for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry or provide the service. After that, we keep it only for the periods required by law to deal with any possible liabilities and tax obligations. Once those periods have passed, we delete it.
7. Who your data is shared with
We do not sell or pass on your data to third parties, unless required by law. To communicate with you we use services from other companies, such as WhatsApp, Web3Forms (for the contact form), email and the hosting provider of this website. These companies only process the data needed to provide their service.
Some of these companies may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, they do so with the safeguards required by the GDPR.
8. Your rights
You may exercise your rights at any time to:
- Access your data.
- Rectify incorrect data.
- Erase your data.
- Object to processing.
- Restrict processing.
- Data portability.
To exercise them, write to us at torreviejataxiexpress@gmail.com stating which right you wish to exercise. We may ask you to prove your identity.
If you believe we have not processed your data correctly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
9. Cookies
This website does not use cookies, does not use analytics tools and does not load content from other websites. That is why we do not show you any cookie notice.
The links to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and X take you to those services, which have their own privacy and cookie policies.
10. Security
We apply reasonable measures to protect your data and prevent its loss, misuse or unauthorised access.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
